Уважаемые коллеги!
От имени Президиума СО РАН сердечно поздравляем вас с нашим профессиональным праздником — Днём российской науки!
Мы отмечаем его 8 февраля — в день, когда Правительствующим Сенатом в 1724 году был одобрен Указ Петра I о создании Российской академии наук. Нынешний День науки для РАН юбилейный — ей исполняется 290 лет. А для нас это двойной юбилей — 70 лет назад, 8 февраля 1944 года, Президиум Академии наук СССР принял решение об организации в Новосибирске Западно-Сибирского филиала АН СССР. В 1957 году он стал опорой для создания Новосибирского научного центра Сибирского отделения Академии наук и вошел в его состав.
Сейчас, в XXI веке, переживая непростое время реформ, Российская академия наук, её Сибирское отделение продолжает эффективно выполнять свои изначально заложенные функции: «науки производить и размножать», и чтобы «через обучение... польза в народе впредь была», а также «исследование... обширного нашего Отечества и изыскание сокрытых в нем производственных сил и источников государственного богатства».
В этот праздник мы испытываем гордость за отечественную науку, за великих учёных-классиков, за наше талантливое молодое поколение, за их преданность своему делу, за умение сплотиться, выстоять, защитить науку.
Прошедший год показал, что, несмотря на сложную ситуацию, учёные СО РАН работали очень продуктивно. Получены результаты мирового уровня. Наука по-прежнему является источником новых прорывных технологий, и без неё невозможно вхождение в шестой технологический уклад, который определен как стратегический вектор развития России. Сибирское отделение РАН вносит значительный вклад в его формирование.
В наш профессиональный праздник желаем вам, дорогие коллеги, дальнейших больших достижений, творческих успехов, вдохновения, озарения и много новых открытий чудных...
