Дорогие коллеги!
Поздравляем вас с весенним праздником — 8 Марта!
Сейчас трудно поверить, что когда-то женщинам не было места в образовании и науке: это несправедливое отношение не только отрезало путь многим тысячам энергичных, талантливых и умных людей, но и сильно обедняло практически все направления исследований. Чтобы пробить себе дорогу в мужском научном мире, помимо незаурядных способностей нужно было обладать недюжинной силой характера, это удавалось немногим, и мы помним их поименно: например, Екатерину Дашкову, стоявшую у истоков Российской академии наук.
Что сложившуюся ситуацию надо менять, считали и многие мужчины. Именно они были инициаторами открывающихся во второй половине XIX века женских курсов: Бестужевских, Московских, Лубянских, Казанских, Киевских и многих других. В 1910 году открылись и Сибирские высшие женские курсы, просуществовавшие до 1920 года, когда женщинам был открыт вход в вузы.
Усилия и мужчин, и женщин, не пропали даром: сейчас в науке не осталось направлений, где не трудились бы ученые-женщины. Несмотря на то, что предстоит еще много сделать для сокращения неравенства, очень приятно, что мы объединяем усилия в поиске научных истин с нашими неординарными, замечательными, целеустремленными коллегами-женщинами.
Дорогие наши коллеги! Этой весной, как никогда, актуально пожелание мирного неба над головой, спокойствия, решительности и упорства в преодолении всех невзгод! Счастья и здоровья вам и вашим близким.
