Полномочный представитель Президента Российской Федерации в Сибирском федеральном округе Анатолий Серышев провёл рабочую встречу с известным российским учёным, председателем Научного совета Российской академии наук по геологии и разработке месторождений нефти, газа и угля, членом Президиума Сибирского отделения РАН, организатором и научным руководителем Института нефтегазовой геологии и геофизики имени А.А.Трофимука СО РАН, академиком Алексеем Конторовичем.
Алексей Конторович рассказал о деятельности сибирских учёных в области геологии нефти и газа, геофизики, стратиграфии и палеонтологии, органической геохимии, достигнутых результатах в научном обосновании и создании сырьевой базы нефтяной и газовой промышленности Сибири и Арктической зоны, разработке энергетической стратегии России.
Специалисты Института геологии и геофизики АН СССР и в дальнейшем одного из его правопреемников – ИНГГ СО РАН разработали уникальные геологические, геофизические и геохимические методы поиска и разведки нефтяных и газовых месторождений, таким образом обеспечив крупный вклад в создание и обоснование перспектив развития нефтяной и газовой промышленности Сибири и её современной инфраструктуры.
Также речь шла о взаимодействии профильных научных институтов с аппаратом полномочного представителя Президента Российской Федерации в Сибирском федеральном округе, региональными органами власти в субъектах Федерации округа, Тюменской области и Республики Саха (Якутия), федеральными органами власти.
Отдельное внимание было уделено актуальным вопросам развития нефтегазового и угольного комплексов регионов округа, включая проблемы изменения глобального климата и энергетического перехода. Была отмечена важность приоритета национальных интересов России и учета специфики природно-климатических условий Сибири при практической реализации политики низкоуглеродного развития.
Алексей Конторович подчеркнул готовность сибирских учёных принимать более активное участие в научном обосновании и сопровождении решения актуальных задач социально-экономического развития регионов округа.
