Советы молодых учёных Института нефтегазовой геологии и геофизики им. А.А. Трофимука СО РАН и Института геологии и минералогии им. В.С. Соболева СО РАН провели открытый семинар, посвящённый особенностям популяризации науки и подаче научного материала.
Своё видение этих вопросов представили лектор Всероссийского общества «Знание», спикер Science Slam, м.н.с ИНГГ СО РАН Всеволод Ефременко; финалистка программы «Ученые – в школы», автор патента метода поиска алмазов в арктических территориях, с.н.с. ИГМ СО РАН Елена Агашева и заведующий Научно-образовательным центром «Эволюция Земли» НГУ, с.н.с ИНГГ СО РАН Игорь Косенко.
Эксперты рассказали собравшимся о том, как правильно подготовить научно-популярное выступление, зачем вообще популяризировать науку и какие есть возможности, чтобы начать это делать.
Докладчики поделились с собравшимися своим опытом выступлений перед различной аудиторией – от школьников и студентов до взрослой публики и коллег-специалистов. Все эксперты подчеркнули, что учёному необходимо участвовать в научно-популярных мероприятиях и практиковаться в выступлениях; совершенствовать свои навыки риторики; уметь подавать себя и своё исследование.
Научно-просветительская работа позволяет рассказать о науке большому числу людей и может побудить слушателей связать свою дальнейшую жизнь с исследовательской деятельностью. Кроме того, практика выступлений поможет учёному и в профессиональном общении – например, при защитах квалификационных работ и диссертаций.
Также собравшиеся обсудили ближайшие научно-просветительские события, в которых можно будет принять участие. Среди них – традиционный конкурс научно-популярных лекций среди сотрудников ИНГГ СО РАН и ИГМ СО РАН и фестиваль Nauka 0+, в рамках которого запланированы выступления учёных в Новосибирске и районах области. Эти мероприятия пройдут в ноябре.
