Abstract
Regional seismic surveys and drilling data from the eastern part of the West Siberian plate west of the Yenisei River reveal thick moderately deformed Neoproterozoic and Early Paleozoic sediments that belong to an ancient basin of Fore-Yenisei under the Mesozoic-Cenozoic cover. Synthesis of new geological and geophysical data provide updates to the seismic-geological model, including 2D sections, structural and geological maps, and tectonics. The results have been used to reconstruct the Neoproterozoic and Paleozoic geodynamic history of the western Siberian craton.
