The optical circuit diagram of the measuring device for centration distances monitoring of corrective glasses was presented. The performed bibliographic research shows that the topic declared in the paper is relevant, since at present there is no device for automated measurement of the centration distances monitoring of corrective glasses. The measuring device designing procedure includes not only the optical circuit diagram proposal but also the error estimation. The influence of an optical beam splitter on the measurement error is investigated. The device design formula is presented, and the accuracy analysis is held. The main steps of the automated measurement algorithm are formulated. In the conclusion, the pre-arrangement of the measuring device is shown. The measuring device proposed in the article and the automated processing algorithm will make it possible to achieve a high degree of automation of the measuring processes. It can significantly reduce the operator's influence on the measurement results. It was shown that the proposed measuring device fits the up-to-date technical requirements in measuring accuracy.
