Globally hyperbolic Lorentzian spaces with special holonomy groups

We prove that each special Lorentzian holonomy group (with the exception of those including the isotropy groups of Kahler symmetric spaces) can be realized as the holonomy group of a globally hyperbolic Lorentzian manifold.
