Abstract
The paper presents the capabilities of the electrical resistivity tomography for determining the thickness of loose sediments and the topography of an alluvial placer bedrock. Particular attention pays to identifying induced polarization anomalies associated with zones of gold-sulfide mineralization in bedrocks. These zones are the primary sources of placer gold in the region.
