Abstract
The paper presents a technique for localization and characterization of fractured zones by seismic data. The developed technique combines the diffraction imaging and topological analysis of diffraction images. The testing results for realistic synthetic model and real seismic data demonstrate possibility for a reliable restoration of the statistical characteristics of the fractured zones.
