Abstract

To ensure the safe operation of engineering structures, it is necessary to periodically monitor their condition. This paper presents the results of field experiments demonstrating the possibility of detecting the loss of stability of the building and determining the locations of the washout. To selection of standing waves from acoustic noise recorded on the coating surface, the accumulation of amplitude spectra of a large number of noise recordings was used. It is shown that by the accumulated amplitude spectra obtained during observations on the base of the building, it is possible to confidently identify the loss of stability of the object under study. The roofs of the studied structures were also tested for stability.
