Lifetime of muons is less than one-millionth of a second. Therefore, not all of them reach the level of their generation to the level of observations through the atmosphere. With the temperature changes occurs an extension or compression of the atmosphere, and hence the distance to the registration point of the particles. This is reflected in the change of the intensity recorded muons (temperature effect). Using the data of continuous observations of variations in cosmic ray intensity, obtained by using matrix muon telescope at Novosibirsk, there are temperature variations at different isobars in the atmosphere. The results obtained are compared with data from upper-air sounding.
