The paper discusses new isotopic-data (U-Pb, Rb-Sr, Ar-Ar, K-Ar) on postcollisional granites of the northern Taimyr. U-Pb isotopic values in zircon from granites fall onto the concordia curve corresponding to the age of 264±8 Ma. The Rb-Sr isochron data for the whole rock, muscovite, and feldspar yield consistent ages of ca. 258 Ma. The 40Ar-39Ar age measured by for biotite is 252.5±1 Ma. The K-Ar ages by biotite and feldspar fall into the 250 to 247 Ma interval. New age data imply a narrow time interval for the formation of postcollisional granites of the northern Taimyr, near the boundary between Permian and Triassic. Determined ages are 20-35 Ma younger than the ages measured for syncollisional granites.
