The results of the GLC-MS analysis of hydrocarbons separated from the liquid products of the thermolysis of vitrinites of different degrees of metamorphism are presented. Alkanes included a set of compounds with the numbers of atoms from C11 to C35. The fraction of alkyl-substituted (C1-C4) naphthalenes, especially, C2-C3 homologs, increased among compounds from the naphthalene series. Triaromatic compounds predominantly included the C1-C2 derivatives of phenanthrene.
