It is shown that in the process of oilfield development, rehabilitation cycles are needed including temporary shutdown of separate zones or oilfields. Using rehabilitation cycles will not only allow relaxation of the porosity and permeability properties of the reservoir but also restore the energy potential of the fluid-saturated systems.
