Аннотация

The work is devoted to the theoretical justification of electromagnetic sounding technology in relation to the study of an unconventional source of hydrocarbons in the West Siberian oil and gas province - the Bazhenov Formation. The technology is based on the transient method and is intended for mapping and spatial localization of lateral heterogeneities and oil-prospective zones using a spatially distributed system of deviated and horizontal wells. Simulation of electromagnetic sounding signals by the transient method in typical layered-homogeneous geoelectric models was carried out using the developed algorithms and software. A comparative analysis of the components of electromagnetic signals is carried out, taking into account the model of measurement errors in realistic models of the Bazhenov Formation. The dependencies of the measured signals on the parameters of geoelectrical models (electrical resistivity and formation boundaries), as well as of the electromagnetic sounding system (distance between the source and receiver, distance from the tool to the boundary, etc.) are established, which form the basis for designing its optimal configuration. The presented results of numerical simulation were obtained using high-performance computing in the Siberian Supercomputer Center.
