Proposed is a quantitative method for remodeling the earth climatic situation in Phanerozoic eon. Plate Tectonic Atlas (Phanerozoic Paleogeograpfic Maps by Scotese, Golonka) was used as a source material. The Atlas represents the positional restoration of main lands for 27 temporary shears from now up to the Cambrian period (545 mln years). The fundamental climatic factors taken in to account are the following:a) Amount of absorbed solar energy effecting the planet average temperature and the back radiation to the cosmos;b) Pronounced differences of water and land reflectivities at normal dip (R=0.02 for water and R=0.2 for land, the ratio presents one order);c) Variation with latitude of the main lands position in the moving process lithosphere platforms;d) Any geological processes resulting in area change of water table.Calculations performed were based on the classical rules of geometrical optics setting the relation of relative value of absorbed energy to dip angle of reflecting surface. While calculating the following assumptions were made:- solar constant and solar radiation absorption by the Earth atmosphere are thought to by unchanged for the whole Phanerozoic eon.- Albedo constancy for all types of main land surfaces.Summary amount of absorbed solar energy is plotted as a function of inland latitude distribution (of continental land) on 27 points of temporary scale. Calculated preliminary had been standardizing relationships of annual density of absorbed solar energy versus geographical latitude for water and land surfaces. The value of annual density of absorbed solar energy for each map was calculated by integration of standardized absorption factors of elementary areas along the whole earth surface. The absorbed solar energy curve has three sharp well-defined deep depressions. The temporary extension of each depression is equal to about 40-50 mln years. Their position corresponds to the principal glaciation epochs.Pointed out are the structural criteria for main land latitude distribution which are characteristic of the epochs with warm and cold climates and for peak climatological instability.Ultimate values of absorbed solar energy variations ranging from 4.25*1024 to 4.34*1024 J/year have been defined. The model provides quite satisfactory agreement of calculated parameters and geological products.
