Аннотация

As a main unites of the Neoproterozoic stratigraphy of the Southern margin of Siberian Platform (SMSP) the Ballaganakh, Dalnetaiga, Zhuya and Yudoma sediments regional horizons could be proposed. These horizons are traced in different facies zones and are reflect three basic stage of geodynamics evolution of the SMSP. The multidepth environments of the passive margin of the Siberian craton (accumulation time about 1100 - 850 Ma) is represented by the Ballaganakh horizon deposits. The sea-type basin having characteristics of active continental margin was developed at 850-650 Ma (the Dalnetaiga-Zhuya horizon). The initial stages of this period are characterized by pericratonal depression and sea transgression (Dalnetaiga time). The analysis of facies and their interrelation allow to recognize the transverse sections of paleobasin where shelf, back-arc basin depression and chain of island arc are distinguished in north to south direction. At the north part of the SMSP the Zhuya horizon sediments (720-650 Ma) reflect argillo-carbonates compensating conditions on prograding shallow shelf platform and later widespread stromatolithic biostroms in the Late Zhuya period. To the south these sediments changing by marls and highly carbon-saturated sediments which were deposited on the distal part of a shelf platform and in deeper sites of paleobasin correspondingly. Further to the south occur carbon-bearing aleurite-argillites interbanded with lavas of different composition and andesitic-dacitic tuffs and tuffites. The stagnant settings were typical for different zones of this basin. Geochronological data for the Late Zhuya volcanics prove that the age of these deposits are close to the Riphean-Vendian boundary. For Vendian time (650-540 Ma, Yudoma horizon) two different types of sedimentation settings could be distinguishing. The platform type reflecting a sedimentation on proximal and middle parts of the shelf is spread on the north of the SMSP. The molassa and orogenic type of deposits (thickness up to 7 km) is widespread within southern zones and consist of the graywackles, volcano-clactic deposits and hybrid turbidites. The sections of the Late Vendian in different zones of SMSP are characterized by similar type of shallow-marine lime-terrigenous sediments. At Early Cambrian the epicontinental large-scale shallow basin covered all over Siberian craton and adjacent areas of SMSP.
