Аннотация
The paper represents a short summary on the Council and Business Meetings that IMA organized between January 11 and 14, 2021. For the first time IMA Council members and national representatives from the Member Countries met at a video conference. The Meetings were devoted to the questions related to the new IMA President term, organization of 2022 IMA General Meeting in Lyon (France), and the Year of Mineralogy (Mineralogy 2022) under patronage of International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development, approved by UNESCO. New IMA Council was elected.
