Аннотация

The Proni transform allows us to regard a seismic trace as a sum of exponentially damping sinusoids. These sinusoids are described by four parameters: amplitude, frequency, decay and phase. After the parameters estimating their partial selection can be done (the Proni filtering procedure) on the basis of a certain criterion. When selection is done using two parameters, frequency and decay, zones of anomalous absorption of seismic energy with high resolution both by time and spatial variables could be recognized. This is very important for study the behavior of high-frequency components of wave field, which clear reflect fluid-saturated rocks, fracture and breakdown zones. Testing the suggested approach on the Chinese seismic data showed that it could be effectively used to outline oil deposits.
