A new scale of 7 stratigraphic units is proposed for the Jurassic of Siberia, based on geographical cycles by W. Davies reflected in sedimentation of coastal marine areas. In general, they are similar to supersequences from a well-known school, but the primary cyclogenesis factor are not the fluctuations in sea level, but the cycles of relief transformation. The formations are separated by unconformity surfaces that form a chronostratigraphic framework. The transformation of continental sinking up cycles into marine shallowing up cycles in the coastal barrier zone is called "inversion", therefore, the scale based on these cycles is called herein "the inversion scale".
