Аннотация
А Lower Cretaceous representative of the Tethyan belemnite family Belemnopseidae of belemnites was discovered for the first time in north-eastern Siberia and identified as Hibolithes sp. Factors that could have contributed to the spread of this Tethyan taxon to high-latitude seas in the early Valanginian are discussed.
