Аннотация
The main attention in the report focuses on the features of factor models application in the processing of 3D data. As an example, models of 3D residual statics correction are used, which are the basis for developing one of the key procedures of modern processing complexes. Their creation was completely based on heuristic considerations, which are built on the kinematic principles of wave propagation. The factor nature of seismic models and, in particular, static correction models, brings them closer to the analysis of variance models, allowing the use of statistical approaches developed by R. Fisher in genetic investigation.
