Аннотация

The paper is focused on studying the effect of the mineral contents on the effective characteristics of the samples modeling the asphalt concrete cores. The two types of samples are considered: the fine-grained sample with pure bitumen binding the regularly arranged inclusions of crushed stone, and the samples with non-regular inclusion arrangement and twocomponent binder of bitumen with sand. For both types of the samples, several variants of mineral contents were investigated. For the fine-grained samples with a pure bitumen matrix, only the effective dielectric permittivity is considered because the pure bitumen resin is non-conductive. Despite the significant difference in the relative effective permittivity of the component materials, the changes in the contents of the fine-grained samples had a small effect due to the low concentration of the inclusions. In contrast, for the multicomponent sample, both characteristics are influenced by changes in the mineral content of the samples and can be utilized to indicate such changes.
