A new conodont species Polygnathus ovaliformis sp. nov. is described from the Upper Devonian deposits of the northeastern margins of the Kuznetsk Basin. This species is most closely related to the Late Frasnian species Po. brevis Miller et Youngquist and Po. costulatus Aristov.
