This paper presents a comprehensive study of basalts and dolerites from the northern margin of the Siberian Platform within the Yenisei-Khatanga and Lena-Anabar basins to establish their relationship with the Siberian traps large igneous province (Siberian LIP). Based on geochemical data obtained from borehole core samples, three types of mafic rocks characteristic of the Siberian LIP were identified. Numerical modeling results demonstrated the possibility of horizontal magma transport over distances up to 800 km from the inferred center of plume activity. Anomalously high basin subsidence rates (up to 4.8 km/Ma) and elevated paleoheat flow values (up to 80-100 mW/m2) during Permian-Triassic magmatism were reconstructed. The data obtained expand our understanding of the spatiotemporal evolution of the Siberian LIP and the mechanisms of mantle plume interactions with the lithosphere.
