Аннотация

Field investigations by the deep seismic sounding method were carried out by a group of Chinese and Russian specialists on the profile crossing the territory of Northeastern China along the line Manzhouli-Linjiang-Suifenhe (1.200 km). Primary data from this profile and from the Lake Baikal - Chita seismic route, studied before, have been interpreted in a uniform manner. A combined seismic section of the Earth's crust along the Baikal - Northeastern China transect of 2.400 km in total length, have been constructed. Reference quasi-head, diving, and reflected waves were used in interpretation; two-dimensional temporal fields of these waves were constructed; velocity distribution of compression waves in the Earth's crust was obtained using the ray seismic tomography technique; surfaces corresponding to the roof and to the floor of the crystalline crust, were constructed. The results obtained demonstrate similarities and differences in the Earth's interior within the Baikal Rift Zone, fold mountain areas of Transbaikalia, Xiao Hinggang, East-Asian marginal belt and the Shuangliao sedimentary basin, the largest on the territory of Eastern China. The anomalously complex structure of the crust-mantle transition zone has been revealed in the area of a probable joint of large lithospheric blocks near Qiqihar and of a large regional gravitational anomaly passing here.
