Large amount of data has been obtained in many experiments. These data show non-linear - elastic behavior of rocks in case of small strains. These nonlinearities are conditioned by defects in rocks at microlevel and mesolevel such as dislocations, microcracks, grain boundaries etc. Such facts have been taken into account and theory of microplasticity has been used in order to show regularities in variation of curvature of plot of function, which describes rock state equation. The curvature can be characterized by sign inversion depending on value of supplied mechanical energy. Increase in wave speed with amplitude has been noted.
