The results of researches (1999 - 2007yrs.) of an ecological-geochemical state of groundwaters of the intensive water-exchange zone in the sough part of the Kuznetskiy basin were summarized in this paper. A distinctive feature of these researches was a complexity of methods and a wide list of analyzed components: macro-elements, biogenic and organic substances, and trace elements. It was concluded that the major part of the studied ground waters is on an initial stage of contamination. They may be considered as the weakly polluted ones despite of a significant scale of contamination. However, in some local areas with a high technogenic press the groundwaters became contaminated ones, and in several points they are transformed to the strongly-contaminated waters. Major pollutants of the groundwaters were phenols, phthalates, petroleum components and organic micro-impurities. Sometimes a proved technogenic influence occurred to be systematic, and sometimes it had an incidental nature.
