Аннотация

The article presents the results of field experiments demonstrating the possibility of determining the thickness of the ice cover by acoustic noise. The accumulation of amplitude spectra of a large number of noise records was used. The obtained results clearly demonstrate the possibility of using the resonance method for fast and fairly accurate determination of the ice thickness. In addition, we can confidently talk about where the contact of ice with the ground ends (the nature of the frequency distribution changes). In addition, the article shows that the analysis of standing waves of vertical compression-tension arising in the coating under the influence of noise makes it possible to control the thickness of the coating and to evaluate the ratio of acoustic stiffnesses of the coating and the underlying layer at a qualitative level.
