The prospects for the gas content of the lower cambrian deposits are considered on the example of the bilchirskiy horizon of the Kovykta gas condensate field, which is confined to the upper and middle parts of the lower angara subformation. The deposits are represented by thick-plate dolomites with interlayers of salts and anhydritedolomites. The study of the bilchirskiy horizon is complicated by the lack of geological and geophysical information: the absence of core material, testing and sampling, as well as a well logging complex in the interval of occurrence of the horizon for most of the previously drilled wells. Analysis of all available geological and geophysical information made it possible to detail the contours of the beds of the bilchirsky horizon of the Kovykta gas condensate field. The osinsky horizon is associated with biohermal structures, first mapped based on the materials of modern seismic surveys within the Kovykta gas condensate field It is assumed that improved reservoirs will be encountered by drilling in the development zone of the identified organogenic structures.
