Аннотация

The possibility of using a mixed non-conformal finite element formulation to solve the fluid filtration problem in a porous geological medium with clay inclusions, as well as in a layered medium under pressure is analyzed. Within the framework of this work, for the construction of a computational scheme based on a mixed method for Darcy flow, the use of a set of hierarchic basis functions on rectangular finite elements for the velocity in the vector-valued function space H(div) is implemented for the first time. A software package in the C++ programming language that accepts as input a grid partition of the computational domain in the "msh" format, obtained using a finite element mesh generator Gmsh, has been developed and verified. For further detailed analysis of the numerical pressure and velocity fields obtained as a result of solving the filtration problem, and also graphical display of the solution the Tecplot program can be used.
