Аннотация
The paper presents the results of a comparative survey carried out using two geophysical methods in geothermal areas in Kamchatka and Kuril Islands, and at industrial sites in the Kemerovo region. Both site types are characterized by highly contrasting and low electrical resistivities. The results obtained by different field methodsmulti-electrode direct-current resistivity imaging and frequency-domain electromagnetic induction sounding are compared to show that these methods are complementary when studying near-surface fluid transport patterns.
