Аннотация

The paper analyzes the permafrost-geothermal information on the exposure of the present heat condition of the West Siberian lithosphere at a depth from 20 to 5000 m. The West Siberian Plate is distinguished by higher values of the hypogene heat flow and of rock temperature. The main peculiarities of the heat flow are formed by two compounds: heat flow from the mantle and the radiogenous isolation of the heat flow from the Earth's crust. Near the surface heat flow becomes transformed under the influence of a number of surface factors. For the West Siberia, the climatic factor is of a particular significance among the surface factors in connection with the broad distribution of permafrost. Permafrost is observed at a depth of 1.5-1.7 km. The analysis testifies that the non-stationary heat regime of permafrost exists practically on the whole territory of West Siberia.
