We have developed new SKL hardware systems for wireline and memory logging in vertical, deviated or horizontal oil-and-gas wells drilled with fresh and biopolymer muds. Employing the SKL systems is accompanied by the development of algorithms and software for numerical interpretation of the electrical and electromagnetic soundings data. The interpretation is based on the integration of the electromagnetic field characteristics measured with the SKL systems. The high detail of investigation and the state-of-art software allow to reliably reconstruct spatial distribution of electrical resistivity in complex terrigenous formations
