The study of the saturation states of various underground waters (from ultra-fresh to strong brines) with different minerals show, that the water-rock system is in the equilibrium-nonequilibrium state. This internally contradictory state allows spontaneous, continuous evolution over geologically long time with the formation of principally new mineral phases and new geochemical types of water.
